About this scholarship
The Gamecock Success Scholarship provides automatic merit funding to admitted first-time freshmen based on high school GPA when test-score-based awards do not apply. For 2026-2027, students with GPAs from 3.00 through 3.49 receive four thousand dollars annually and students with GPAs from 3.50 through 3.74 receive five thousand dollars annually. Scholarships apply beginning the first fall semester and renew for up to eight semesters with full-time status, 24 institutional credits earned per year, and maintenance of the institutional GPA listed in the scholarship contract. Out-of-state recipients qualify for in-state tuition on any remaining balance after the scholarship is applied.
