About this scholarship
The Gamecock Advantage Scholarship is an automatic merit award for first-time freshmen admitted to Jax State with an ACT composite between 15 and 25 or an SAT between 830 and 1220 and a high school GPA from 2.00 through 2.49. The 2026-2027 award provides two thousand dollars annually for up to four years. Scholarships are determined from admission credentials and may increase if higher test scores are received by May 1 for fall admits. Recipients must remain enrolled at least 12 hours each semester, earn 24 institutional credit hours per academic year, and maintain the GPA specified in their scholarship contract to renew.
