Osgoode Hall Law School JD students in financial need who face visible or invisible obstacles such as income, mental health, racial, cultural, or gender inequalities, or physical or learning challenges may be considered.

K. A. Siobhan Monaghan (LLB '84, LLM '94) established the bursary to honour her mother, Gabrielle, a lifelong learner who completed a BA while working as a nurse and raising four children, then earned a master's in Hospital Administration as a single mother working full-time.
