About this scholarship
U.S. citizens who are graduating seniors, graduate students, or young professionals may apply for grants to study, conduct research, or teach English abroad in more than 140 countries. Award amounts and terms vary by country and grant type; more than 1,800 grants are available annually.
Campus applicants must meet their institution's earlier Fulbright Program Adviser deadline; independent applicants submit by the national deadline. Prepare transcripts, recommendations, project statements, and complete the online application, with language competency required for the chosen award.
The Fulbright U.S. Student Program fosters academic advancement and cross-cultural exchange through graduate study, research, or English teaching abroad.
