About this scholarship
Competitive need-based grant for high-achieving University of the Ozarks undergraduates from low and middle income families, established in 2016 by the Walton Family Support Foundation. After federal, state, institutional, and other aid, the award can cover tuition, books, and room and board to minimize debt. Applicants need a high school GPA of at least 3.2, a filed FAFSA, and adjusted gross income below ninety-two thousand dollars. The separate application opens December 15 and closes January 30 and includes an interview; recipients also complete the Frontier Leadership Seminar during freshman year.
