About this scholarship
Northwestern Oklahoma State University awards freshman academic scholarships of $500 to $1,200 toward tuition for new students who complete the Freshman Scholarship Application by May 15. Applicants must have at least a 3.0 high school cumulative GPA and a 21 to 25 composite ACT score on the application, which requires a seven-semester high school transcript with ACT scores mailed to the NWOSU Registry Office. Students with a 3.75 or higher GPA who have not reached a 21 ACT may qualify for alternative academic scholarships. NWOSU encourages all applicants to file the FAFSA, and scholarships must be applied for each year because institutional awards are not automatically renewed.
