About this scholarship
The Founders Academic Scholarship provides eight thousand dollars per year to incoming first-year students on Southwestern College’s Winfield campus who meet qualifying combinations of unweighted high school GPA and ACT or SAT scores on the published freshman scholarship grid. This mid-tier merit award also applies to transfer students with a cumulative college GPA between two point five and two point nine. Awards are finalized at admission with no separate scholarship application. Scholarships renew for up to ten semesters when students maintain a two point zero cumulative GPA, remain enrolled full time, and continue living on campus to receive the full published amount.
