About this scholarship

The Forever Scholar award recognizes Iowa resident first-year students at Iowa State University with strong academic records who meet paired GPA and test-score thresholds. Eligible students need a minimum 3.60 cumulative high school GPA plus a 28 ACT or 1300 SAT score. The award is granted automatically upon admission and cannot be combined with other Office of Admissions merit awards or full-tuition scholarships. Students must enroll for the fall semester immediately following high school graduation, be U.S. citizens or permanent residents, and maintain continuous full-time enrollment with at least 12 credits per semester, resident tuition assessment, and a minimum 2.50 cumulative ISU GPA to renew for up to four years.
