About this scholarship
The For Utah Scholarship is a last-dollar program ensuring four years of University of Utah tuition and mandatory fees are covered by grants and scholarships from all sources for eligible Utah residents. First-year, first-time students need at least a 3.20 unweighted cumulative high school GPA, Federal Pell Grant eligibility, a completed admission application by December 1, and a FAFSA submitted by February 1. The program covers remaining tuition and mandatory fees not already met by other aid and renews for up to eight semesters when recipients maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA, full-time enrollment, and annual Pell Grant eligibility.
