About this scholarship
Fluor Corporation's HBCU Engineering Scholar Program at Prairie View A&M University awards six five thousand dollar merit scholarships each year to civil, chemical, and mechanical engineering majors who demonstrate outstanding classroom performance, leadership, and campus involvement. Recipients participate in lecture series, research modules, technical writing workshops, mock interviews, career fairs, and professional development with Fluor engineers, including a design pitch competition. The program is administered through the Roy G. Perry College of Engineering and Honors Program to prepare underrepresented engineering students for industry careers.
