About this scholarship

Gonzaga University automatically considers every first-year applicant who completes the Application for Admission for one of several need-blind merit scholarships ranging from twenty-three thousand five hundred to thirty-two thousand dollars per year. Selection weighs curriculum difficulty, grade point average, extracurricular activities, recommendations, application writing quality, optional SAT or ACT scores, and optional interviews; Gonzaga is test-optional for merit consideration. Recipients must be admitted, enroll in at least twelve credits each term, and maintain good academic standing under the Gonzaga Guarantee for four years. Approximately ninety-eight percent of applicants receive a merit scholarship based on their admission application. No separate scholarship form is required beyond the standard admission application.
