Renewable merit scholarship for first-year undergraduates pursuing their first bachelor's degree at WCU in a Cullowhee-based major. Award levels range from one thousand to three thousand dollars per year based on weighted high school GPA on the final transcript. Eligible students apply for admission by February 1, submit the FAFSA or request an exemption by March 15, and sign the Catamount Commitment agreement by May 1.
