About this scholarship
UNG First Generation Scholarships help first-generation college students pay for tuition and fees at the University of North Georgia. These foundation-funded awards are part of the university's broader portfolio of more than 450 scholarship funds administered through ScholarshipUniverse and the Nighthawk Scholarship Center. First-generation students, defined as those whose parents did not complete a four-year college degree, may match to multiple first-gen endowed funds when they complete the general scholarship profile and application. Priority deadlines are February 14 for current students and February 1 for incoming students each year. Award amounts vary by fund and applicant qualifications.
