About this scholarship
The Finley Academic Excellence Scholarship for freshmen supports new Oregon resident first-year students attending the Corvallis or Bend campuses through the University Scholars Program. Awards reach up to five thousand dollars annually and renew for up to three additional years for four years of total funding. Students typically have an unweighted high school GPA of 3.50 or higher. Priority consideration goes to applicants who submit their OSU admission application by February 2; later applicants are reviewed on a funds-available basis. No separate scholarship application is required beyond the admission application and holistic USP review.
