About this scholarship

National economics and policy competition for U.S. high school teams studying a euro-area country and proposing solutions to shared economic challenges. Teams register online, compete in regional rounds each spring, and 25 semifinalists present in New York City. Santander Bank awards unrestricted cash to each member of the top five national teams: $1,500 first, $1,000 second, $750 third, $500 fourth, and $250 fifth; the top two teams also receive a Washington, D.C. field trip.
