About this scholarship
The Elizabeth Stepp Goff Memorial Scholarship provides $1,000 to education majors at the University of Pikeville to help cover educational costs. Preference is given to students from the 7th Judicial District of Eastern Kentucky, especially Pike and Martin County, who demonstrate financial need and a Christian background. Each year one new student is selected; prior recipients cannot be re-awarded. Applicants submit an essay of at least 500 words about their UPIKE educational experience and how they would use the scholarship to prepare to teach the next generation. Deadline is September 30.
