The Eiro and Alice Yamada Endowed Scholarship at UH Mānoa Shidler College of Business supports students majoring in any area of business or pursuing entrepreneurial studies. Established by the Yamada Scott Family Foundation with Shidler matching funds, the endowment honors Alice Yamada, a longtime Hawaiʻi public school teacher, and Eiro Yamada, a 442nd veteran and businessman. Annual awards are distributed through the UH System Common Scholarship Application and STAR portal based on donor selection criteria.
