About this scholarship
The Eileen and Humberto Monge Scholarship supports upper-division undergraduate students in the SDSU School of Public Health with an emphasis in community health education. Recipients must have completed at least 60 units in the major, maintain a minimum 2.50 cumulative GPA, and demonstrate financial need as determined by the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships. Each award has a minimum value of $1,500 and may not exceed available fund balances. Applications are submitted through the Aztec Scholarships portal when it opens March 15, 2026, with a priority deadline of April 15, 2026.
