About this scholarship
The Edward Sibley Lewis, M.D. Endowed Presidential Pre-Medical Scholarship supports pre-medical undergraduate UT Austin students who are Texas residents enrolled full-time with a minimum 3.75 GPA and at least forty-five credit hours in residence at the university. Preference is given to Biochemistry majors among eligible applicants. Students apply through the CNS Common Scholarship Application in LASSO by March 15 for the following academic year. The award recognizes strong academic preparation for medical school among continuing College of Natural Sciences students. Recipients must remain fully enrolled during semesters considered for and receiving the award.
