About this scholarship
Need-based free-tuition program for new first-time EMU undergraduates enrolling in fall 2025 and later. The Eagle Guarantee combines with federal Pell Grant and Michigan Achievement Scholarship funds to cover tuition and provides an additional $2,000 toward on-campus housing. Requirements include a 3.0 cumulative high school GPA, Pell Grant eligibility with household assets under $60,000 on the FAFSA, Michigan residency, Michigan Achievement Scholarship eligibility, and status as a traditional first-time student under age 21. Students must apply to EMU and file the FAFSA by published March 15 priority deadlines.
