About this scholarship

Transfer students admitted to UT San Antonio with at least 24 transferable semester credits and a 3.8 transfer GPA receive automatic consideration for the Distinguished Transfer Scholarship. Fall applicants should be admitted by May 1; spring applicants by October 15.

This competitive merit award is distributed over up to four consecutive semesters when funding is available. Non-residents awarded at least $1,000 for the academic year may receive a non-resident tuition waiver. Renew with at least 12 UTSA credit hours and a 3.0 GPA.
