About this scholarship
The Distinguished Scholars Award Program is a merit scholarship for U.S. high school graduates entering Florida A&M University. Recipients are among FAMU's highest-achieving incoming freshmen and are automatically considered through the admission and University Scholarship Program review process when they meet program minimums, including a 3.50 unweighted GPA and competitive SAT or ACT scores. Full university scholarship recipients must live in on-campus housing during their first two academic years. Students apply for FAMU admission and must be admitted before the October 15 scholarship deadline to be considered.
