About this scholarship
The Distinguished Scholar Award is among the most prestigious scholarships at Dordt University, with ten students selected each year for an additional four thousand five hundred dollars on top of the Trustees Scholarship they already earned. Students with a 3.75 cumulative GPA and a 32 ACT or 1420 SAT composite are invited to Distinguished Scholar Day on campus. Selection includes written responses to two essay questions and an interview. The award renews for three additional years if the recipient maintains a minimum 3.50 cumulative GPA. This competitive honor recognizes top academic achievers entering full-time undergraduate study.
