About this scholarship
The Disney Storytellers Fund at FAMU prepares high-potential juniors and seniors in the School of Journalism and Graphic Communication to become leading communicators and innovators in journalism, public relations, and design. Selected scholars receive up to $10,000 per year plus an annual stipend, specialized programming, mentoring, leadership development, and hands-on training opportunities with Disney news brands. Cohort members are chosen through a competitive SJGC application process when the fund is accepting applications. Returning cohort members may continue participation and internship experiences in subsequent years.
