About this scholarship
The Dewey B. Stuit Scholarship for Excellence recognizes University of Iowa Honors Program students in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences who show extraordinary academic performance, promise of continued excellence within their major, and meaningful engagement with the Honors community through scholarship, research, leadership, or service. Awards vary between one thousand and five thousand dollars and fund the following academic year only; eligible students may reapply annually. Applicants must be currently enrolled full-time Honors members in their first or second year of undergraduate study and submit materials through the Iowa Scholarship Portal, including a resume, faculty recommendation, and conditional application.
