About this scholarship
The Destination Dearborn Scholarship provides merit funding to incoming in-state transfer students at UM-Dearborn with a cumulative college GPA between 2.50 and 2.99 at admission. For students starting Fall 2026 and beyond, recipients receive $1,000 per year for up to six semesters. Students must be Michigan residents under Board of Regents rules, maintain full-time enrollment, and meet Satisfactory Academic Progress to renew. The scholarship is awarded automatically during the transfer admission process with no separate application. Students are ineligible if tuition and fees are already covered in full by other funds.
