About this scholarship

The Dearborn Scholars Award provides automatic merit funding to incoming first-year in-state undergraduates at UM-Dearborn with a cumulative high school GPA between 3.25 and 3.99 at admission. The scholarship pays $4,000 per year renewable for up to eight semesters when recipients remain Michigan residents, enroll full-time, and maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA. Students are considered upon submitting their UM-Dearborn admission application without a separate scholarship form. Final official transcripts affecting eligibility must be received by the end of the drop/add period in the first semester of enrollment.
