About this scholarship

The Dearborn Gateway Award is an automatic merit scholarship for incoming first-year in-state undergraduates at UM-Dearborn with a cumulative high school GPA between 2.50 and 2.99 at admission. The award provides $2,000 per year renewable for up to eight semesters when students maintain Michigan residency, full-time enrollment, and a 3.0 cumulative GPA. No separate scholarship application is required beyond the UM-Dearborn admission application.
