About this scholarship
The HACC Foundation DACA DREAMers Scholarship Fund assists students with Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals status who may not qualify for federal financial aid. Applicants upload an unexpired Form I-797C Notice of Action from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services as part of the AcademicWorks supplemental application. This is one of the few HACC Foundation credit scholarships that does not require a FAFSA. Students apply by May 1, maintain at least a 2.0 GPA, register for the next term, and accept any award through HAWKmail. Award amounts vary with endowment earnings.
