About this scholarship
The Cullen Leadership Scholarship provides one thousand dollars per year to incoming University of Houston freshmen who combine a competitive academic profile with demonstrated leadership skills. Recipients are selected by the Student Financial Support Committee from the pool of admitted applicants with no separate scholarship application required beyond the admission application submitted by the priority deadline. The award renews for up to four years, or five years for architecture students, while the student maintains full-time enrollment of at least twelve credit hours, a 3.0 cumulative GPA on UH coursework, and required credit-hour completion benchmarks at the end of each academic year. Total aid cannot exceed UH cost of attendance.
