About this scholarship
The Cristo Rey Promise meets full institutional demonstrated need for billable costs for first-year Santa Clara University undergraduates who graduated from a Cristo Rey high school. Demonstrated need is calculated as billable costs minus the CSS Profile expected family contribution. FAFSA and CSS Profile are required at initial awarding and FAFSA annually for renewal. The promise does not apply to students admitted from the waitlist. Awards vary by need, renew for twelve consecutive academic quarters, and coordinate with federal, state, and other university aid while students maintain satisfactory progress and full-time enrollment.
