About this scholarship
The Cowboy Commitment is an annual renewing merit pledge for new first-time Wyoming resident students who are not transfers. Awards are tiered at six thousand five hundred, four thousand, two thousand, or one thousand dollars per year based on cumulative high school GPA and ACT or SAT scores, with a test-optional review path for students who do not submit scores. Recipients must be degree-seeking on the Laramie or Casper campus, confirm enrollment by May 1 for fall starts, and complete the WyoScholarships general application each year. The commitment renews up to eight semesters with a 3.0 UW cumulative GPA and continuous full-time enrollment.
