About this scholarship
The Corey D. Dahlem Memorial Endowed Scholarship honors Gainesville Police Department Lieutenant Corey D. Dahlem, who was killed in the line of duty in April 2007. Junior or senior criminology undergraduates with at least a 2.75 GPA who demonstrate financial need may apply through FS4U during the college scholarship window. Applicants must not have alcohol-related, reckless driving, or DUI convictions. First preference goes to children of current Gainesville Police officers, then to children of other Florida law enforcement officers, then to candidates pursuing law enforcement careers. The two-year award requires maintaining a 2.75 GPA.
