About this scholarship
The Community Scholars Program is a four-year, service-based scholarship at Earlham College for incoming students who have demonstrated commitment to community service and social justice work throughout high school. Scholars complete at least 70 hours of service per semester, attend cohort orientation and training, and engage in reflection activities while exploring diversity, equity, social justice, and environmental consciousness. Applicants must apply to Earlham by Early Action or Early Decision, enroll in the fall entering class, and submit the separate Community Scholars application. Awards range from two thousand to five thousand dollars per year and renew for up to four years with satisfactory academic progress and program participation.
