About this scholarship
State-funded FosterEd program covering the remaining cost of attendance at Colorado Mesa University for eligible students who were in Colorado foster care on or after their thirteenth birthday. After other grants and scholarships are applied, FosterEd can pay tuition, fees, reasonable living expenses, books, and other educational costs up to CMU's full cost of attendance. Students must file the FAFSA or CASFA, complete the state FosterEd application opening March 1, provide foster-care verification, maintain satisfactory academic progress, and enroll in a certificate, associate, or bachelor's program within the 132 lifetime credit-hour limit.
