About this scholarship
The Colonel Alice A. Kerr Veteran's Scholarship Fund supports full-time University of Miami undergraduate or graduate students who served honorably on active duty in the U.S. armed forces and demonstrate financial need. Applicants must be in good standing, file the current-year FAFSA and CSS Profile, and submit the separate scholarship application by April 1. Graduate students do not need to complete the CSS Profile. Awards are determined by the Student Financial Assistance and Employment Office using current UM need-analysis policies after financial aid applications are processed.
