About this scholarship
Mentorship-based scholarship program for first-generation students from Summit County who start at Colorado Mountain College for at least one year. Scholars receive up to $1,100 per year as freshmen and sophomores and up to $4,800 per year as juniors and seniors through The Summit Foundation, plus monthly one-on-one mentoring, academic coaching, career counseling, and transfer navigation. Participants must meet with a community mentor monthly, provide progress updates, maintain at least a 2.5 GPA, and stay enrolled at CMC or a transfer institution.
