About this scholarship
Open to a student entering the first year of the JD program at Osgoode Hall Law School (York University, Toronto) who demonstrates financial need. Because the Ontario government contributed matching funds through the Ontario Student Opportunity Trust Fund, the award is restricted to Canadian citizens or permanent residents who are Ontario residents.
The bursary amount varies.
The Class of 1978 established the bursary in 2003 at their 25th class reunion to help future Osgoode students succeed in their legal education.
