Cisneros Scholars at George Washington University are selected from incoming undergraduates who apply through the Common Application and demonstrate academic achievement plus commitment to leadership and service in Latino communities. Approximately ten scholars join a four-year cohort with mentoring, professional development, academic seminars, and internship opportunities through the Cisneros Hispanic Leadership Institute. The program is open to all eligible applicants regardless of ethnicity. Scholars receive a multi-year merit award as part of admission and participate in institute programming throughout undergraduate study. Only one GW admissions merit award may be accepted.

Oregon artists and arts practitioners 18 or older who have been domiciled in Oregon for at least 12 months may apply for funding to pursue a specific, time-sensitive career opportunity. Applicants must not be enrolled in any degree-granting program and cannot have received COG funding in the past three cycles. Awards range from $500 to $2,000 to cover expenses tied to an invited opportunity such as an exhibition, residency, workshop, conference, or performance.
