High-achieving students applying for University of Alberta undergraduate entrance with admission averages of 95% or higher may be assessed for this prestigious entrance scholarship. Up to 60 recipients receive awards of up to $50,000 each among the university's most competitive entrance awards. Apply through Awards Hub with an outstanding application when the competition opens. Concordia University of Edmonton first-year students competing on average across three of Mathematics 113/114, Chemistry (6 credits), Computing Science (6 credits), or Physics (6 credits) can receive this award. One variable annual award goes to the student with the highest average in those courses. Apply through Online Services for Students under Requests, Award Applications, CUE Scholarships. Concordia University of Edmonton second- or third-year students intending to complete a CUE degree with a declared English major, concentration, or minor may apply. Applicants must have completed at least 15 English credits at CUE. The award goes to the applicant with the highest GPA on the most recently completed 15 English credits. One annual award of $250. Apply through Online Services for Students (Requests, Award Applications, CUE Scholarships) by the published January deadline.

Part-time undergraduate students at the University of Windsor who are in good academic standing, demonstrate financial need, and are Canadian Citizens or Permanent Residents (including Protected Persons) meeting OSAP Ontario residency requirements may apply for the Alumni Association Part-time Undergraduate Student Bursary (OPUS). Two bursaries of $775 each are offered annually. The award is renewable through reapplication in later years if conditions are still met, and cannot be combined with any other OPUS awards. Apply online. These bursaries are offered by the University of Windsor Alumni Association.

Ph.D. students at the University of Windsor in any program who self-identify as Black may apply. A minimum 80% cumulative average is required. One scholarship of $1,625 is granted annually. Apply online through the UWinAward profile. The Alumni Association established this award to support Black students at the doctoral level.

Langara College Library and Information Technology students who have completed the first term and are enrolled in the subsequent term may apply for the Elva M. Wilson Memorial Scholarship. Applicants need high scholastic achievement, enrollment in three or more courses, and contributions to the field through publications, tutoring, or similar activities. Two awards; amount varies. Awarded in spring.
