About this scholarship
Endowed scholarship of up to $2,000 for UW Seattle English majors with an interest in the literature, culture, and history of LGBT communities. The award is open to all English majors regardless of race, sex, or other identity markers. Applicants must meet standard English Department scholarship requirements including declared major status, minimum GPAs, English coursework, faculty recommendation, biography, and scholarly writing sample. Recipients must enroll in at least six undergraduate credits each quarter on the Seattle campus during the scholarship term.
