About this scholarship
The UC Riverside Chancellor's Research Fellowship is a prestigious award supporting fourteen undergraduates each year in faculty-mentored research or creative activity across all disciplines. Sophomore and junior applicants must hold a minimum 3.0 GPA, attend a mandatory CRF Application Workshop in winter quarter, and submit a detailed research proposal with budget and faculty mentor letter by April 6, 2026. Fellows receive $5,750, including a $5,000 full-time summer research stipend and $750 for research expenses, and present at the annual undergraduate research symposium.
