About this scholarship
Catharine Lealtad Scholarships are competitive, non-need-based merit awards for admitted U.S. citizens and permanent residents at Macalester College. The admissions committee selects recipients based on the strength of the admission application; financial need is not considered and no separate scholarship form is required. Recipients are notified at the time of admission, and Macalester does not increase or add merit awards after enrollment. Scholarships renew at the same dollar amount for up to eight full-time semesters with no minimum GPA requirement for renewal.
