About this scholarship
The Catalyst Scholars Program, launched in 2020 by Oregon State's College of Engineering, supports high-achieving engineering students with preference for first-generation college students and Oregon residents with high financial need. Each scholar receives eight thousand dollars per year for tuition and fees plus two thousand dollars per year for experiential learning such as research, internships, and leadership development, totaling ten thousand dollars annually. The competitive cohort-style program provides coordinated academic and social support.
