Catalyst Award for Women and Gender Diverse Leaders

Second-year SAIT students who identify as women or gender-diverse may apply. You must show financial need, academic achievement with at least a 3.30 GPA, and leadership through participation in SAIT activities, clubs, or initiatives. Preference goes to students from equity-deserving communities, including Indigenous Peoples, Black and racialized students, persons with disabilities, and 2SLGBTQIA+ or gender and sexually diverse communities.

Eligible programs include Radio, Television and Broadcast News (all majors), Hospitality and Tourism Management (Multi-Disciplinary), Journalism, Film and Video Production, Cyber Security, and Software Development.

One award of $1,000 is given for the Winter semester. Apply through mySAIT Student Awards and Financial Aid.
