About this scholarship

The Carthage Commitment covers remaining tuition costs not paid by federal and state grants and Stafford Loans for eligible Wisconsin students, so recipients have no direct out-of-pocket tuition costs. Open to new incoming students beginning fall 2023 or later, applicants must be admitted by May 1, submit the FAFSA by May 1, be Pell eligible (typically household income under $65,000), be Wisconsin residents, and hold a high school GPA of 2.5 or above. The commitment covers fall and spring tuition plus on-campus J-Term courses but not books, room, board, J-Term study tours, or parking.
