About this scholarship
The Caroline Gruenberg Wirtz Honors Student Leadership Award recognizes one Delta College Honors Program student each year who has demonstrated significant leadership at Delta or in the community beyond mere participation. Recipients must be current Honors members who have earned or will earn the Honors Certificate, be enrolled at Delta, submit a five-hundred-to-seven-hundred-fifty-word personal statement about their leadership experience, and provide two letters of support from Delta faculty, staff, or community professionals on letterhead. The winner receives a five-hundred-dollar cash award, a certificate, and placement on the permanent Wirtz award plaque, and must attend the Honors Program award ceremony to receive the prize.
