About this scholarship
Calvin University awards a National Merit academic scholarship tier to students selected as National Merit Finalists by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation who select Calvin as their first-choice university. Finalists must report Calvin as first choice with NMSC by the published deadline, generally before May 1, with undecided finalists allowed until May 31. Calvin-sponsored National Merit awards are offered in addition to other National Merit sponsor options, and finalists may receive only one National Merit Scholarship. The award renews for four years while the recipient maintains satisfactory academic progress.
