About this scholarship
The CAFS Scholarship Program awards competitive partial or full scholarships annually to students majoring in the College of Agriculture and Food Sciences at Florida A&M University. Open to incoming freshmen and transfer students pursuing careers in food and agricultural sciences, the program requires U.S. citizenship, a 3.0 recalculated core GPA, and preferred SAT 1080 or ACT 21 for first-time-in-college applicants. Semi-finalists complete a CAFS application package including biographical forms, recommendations, résumé, and a 500-to-800-word essay. Awards may be renewed for up to eight semesters for freshmen contingent on GPA, community service, and program participation.
