Bursary Partnership Program

Alberta post-secondary students sponsored by an employer through the Bursary Partnership Program may receive combined sponsor and Northern Alberta Development Council matching funds of up to $7,000 per year. Students must have an arm's-length relationship to the sponsor, commit to live and work in northern Alberta after graduation, and be in a program of at least 12 weeks for a half bursary or 16 weeks for a full bursary.

Sponsors submit matching-funds forms between May 1 and November 30. Selected students complete the online BPP application with a verified Alberta.ca Account and must apply each year they want to be considered.

Recipients sign a return-service contract based on the total bursary value.
